Busy on the 'Day Job' with Motorrad!

We started Ardenne and Eifel Aventures in 2002 to provide 'Motorsport Lodgings' to a largely English clientel in the beautiful and largely undiscovered corner of Belgium that is the Ardennes, 2008 will be the 7th season in our continuing quest to provide that little bit extra which makes your stay a memorable adventure, not just a short break.
The one thing that never changes is our commitment to providing accomodation in a friendly atmosphere with good food and wines, a healthy stock of beer and like minded company. The picture postcard pretty village of Moulin du Ruy provides a great location for your stay and the now famous local weekend cafe 'Chez Joseph' is unique and has to be experienced!
Our unique knowledge of the area means we can offer some cracking touring routes, this part of Europe still being largely undiscovered means that its unusual for either the roads or the towns and villages to be particularly busy. Since the late nineties Neil has worked as a Motorcycle instructor with NRC, Honda GB, Dilthey Training, Yamaha Europe, Schuberth and Motorrad at the Nurburgring and we are alone in providing escorted trips to and around the Nurburgring with a current instructor(see page three for possible dates) Being adjacent to Spa Francorchamps means we can advise you on all aspects of this great circuit and also provide plenty of good advice on how to get the most from these beautiful surroundings, we even have a minibus to transport people locally if the weather turns unpleasant and bicycles to ride if you feel energetic!

2008 CALENDAR

BIKERSDAYS TRACKDAYS
Once again in 2008 we will be assisting 'Bikerdays' (see calendar link at bottom of this page for dates throughout the year)with their promotion of motorcycle trackdays at the worlds best current race circuits. With Bikersdays providing numerous opourtunities to ride on track at Spa Francorchamps, the chance to ride the best current circuit in the world is a 'must do' no matter if you are a bike or car trackday addict, the thrill of mastering 'Eau Rouge' is second to none. NOTE There is no problem with noise at Spa.
CAR TRACKDAYS

ZOLDER
The former F1 circuit at Zolder is only one hour away, its a great litle circuit, check out possible dates for bike trackdays on calendar link at bottom of this page.

MOTORRAD COURSES NURBURGRING
For the past six years Neil has worked as a Motorcycle instructor on the Nordschleife, for 2008 we will again be offering a lucky few the chance to take part in English groups within the framework of German Motoradd courses on the Nordschleife. These are Closed Circuit training events encompassing two full days of intensive work on the track with Neil as your instructor. Accomodation is included on a half board basis using the Dorint hotel overlooking the GP circuit, this really is 'Top Gun' on two wheels. CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE RACING. Belgium is fast becoming the spiritual home of around the houses classic motorcycle racing with a large number of dates during the year and vast entry lists. Gedinne, Mettet, Chimay all host some crazy events go to www.monkeyplanet.be for info. The 'Bikersdays Spa Classic' is quickly becoming the 'Biggie' in classic circles with Agostini being only one of many great champions who regularly attends, again use the 'Bikersdays'link page 2 to check it out.
CYCLING HOLIDAYS.
Being in the middle of the valleys and Hills of the Ardennes means that we have great MTB trails outside our front door as well as quiet back roads perfect for meandering along, please contact us to discuss your cycling break. A limited number of  cycles are available to borrow.
The worlds oldest cycling classic, Liege-Bastogne-Liege Passes by our village every year in late April and many of the other Belgian classics often visit the Stavelot area to pit themselves against the fearsome climbs
